Åsnen National Park
Åsnen National Park is Sweden’s newest national park. A large part of the park consists of the lake Åsnen with its unique archipelago. The islands are covered in old forests and on the main land you will find different kinds of beautiful forests – beech, pine or deciduous – and mystical marshlands. What makes the Åsnen area so special is the feeling of wilderness and the diversity of environments.
Both entrances by Sunnabron and Trollberget are located approximately 20 minutes by car from Huseby Bruk. The area offers great possiblities for fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing and riding. We can give you advice on places to visit, trails and tours in the park and in the area. You can also get maps and buy fishing cards in our shop.
Visit Åsnen’s own website for more information.
Here you can find Åsnen’s official guide.
